write 2 drafts: the way they want. the way u want. then decide what to do. still undecided? ask admissions counselor if sending both (w/ explanatory note) wd b ok or overkill. there’s a solution & u will find it :) good luck!

I ended up sending in that last draft without having anyone check it over since apparently most of my friends were either still sleeping or at work while I toiled away on it. Then I had a momentary freakout when my Admissions Director asked if he told me it only had to be one paragraph and that they usually look for three. Then I told him what the sheet he gave me said (one paragraph, 150+ words, etc) and offered to rewrite it if he thought that the three paragraphs were necessary.
Apparently he liked my one paragraph because once I repeated the form’s requests he told me not to worry about it and that he’d send my essay through to the Admissions board.
So I hope that means it was good! -
