DWTS Season 14, Week 8. When good props go awkward. The dramatic climax of Katherine Jenkin’s cha cha cha is victory over her two dance adversaries, Mark Ballas and Tristan MacManus, who decide to handcuff themselves to each other.
Brilliant prop is brilliant. Until the dance is over, and Tristan and Mark have to come to terms with being chained to each other on national television for well over three minutes without the benefit of choreography.
See? Even when Tristan seeks safe harbor on Mark’s shoulder, one snap of Mark’s left arm, and it all goes flailing :(
